One of a Kind Card Co
Four participants of The Alternative Day Program have begun a business creating unique, individualized note cards, that are available for sale. They have named their business, One of a Kind Card Co.
The designs on the cards originated through the facilitation of our Art therapist, Kirsten Johnson. She developed a relationship with the individuals, offering an outlet for self expression. Art therapy is the therapeutic use of art creation, within a professional relationship by people, who experience illness, trauma or challenges in living, and by people who seek personal development. Through the process, individuals can increase their awareness of self and others, cope with stress, enhance cognitive abilities, and enjoy the life altering pleasure of making art.
The Card Co. designed a way for others to appreciate the” labor of love” that is each person’s art work. Don’t pass up these uniquely individualized note cards.
